Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.More about our teamDenver Springs has 96 beds for inpatient and outpatient services: 1-12 ratio on beds, 4 people supporting each unit.How you'll contributeA Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role will:* Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs* Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions* Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient* Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record* Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient* Performs timely and accurate QI assessmentsWhat we're looking for: A qualified Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health demonstrates strong clinical assessment skills and specialized expertise in managing patients with psychiatric or substance‐related conditions.Requirements:Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing, valid driver's license preferredGraduate from an accredited program of professional nursing requiredPrevious experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferredAdditional Requirements:* Basic Life Support certification and Handle with Care Training (HWC) within 30 days* May be required to work flexible hoursSchedule: 3x12/4x10/5x8 + Days (7a-7p)/ Nights(7p-7a) + rotating weekends/every 3rd weekend/every weekend + on call, holidays, etc. (i.e. 3x12, Nights (7p-7a), rotating weekend - may require some flexibility in schedulingWhy join us:We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
