Corporate AV Support Technician II

We believe that success starts with a sound team and that an inclusive and diverse workplace moves us all forward.What You’ll DoThe Onsite Maintenance Technician will work in partnership with the Customer, management team, Global Helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.Day-To-Day ResponsibilitiesSetup and breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers event needsPerform preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces including but not limited to: ensuring that all technology works as designed and testing/repairing various hardware componentsClean various AV equipment including but not limited to: camera lenses, monitors and equipment fans.Responsible for job site documentation and providing client training on the AV Technology as neededPerform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to: meeting support, installing non-complex AV components, and video/audio recording support where applicableCollaborate with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPLUnderstand and adhere to local safety standards for all site dutiesSetup, operate and troubleshoot various audio/video systemsTravel to various job sites as requiredAt a minimum, the Maintenance Technician will accomplish the following tasks asPart Of Their Responsibilities Provide direct assistance and training to end users in the operation of AVsystems. Perform routine preventive maintenance checks & services on AV/VTCsystems. Perform advanced routine maintenance support on all AV systems includingbut not limited to basic troubleshooting and system fault isolation, projectorlamp changes, filter cleaning, etc. Provide Show Tech Support of planned events, both onsite and off, as needed Work flexible schedule as required. Perform administrative tasks such as completing service tickets, maintainingactive status board on system readiness, etc. Perform service level troubleshooting and maintenance support on AV & VTCsystems. Setup and monitor video calls as needed. Ensure vendor compliance with all Customer safety and procedural guidelinesat all times. Track all maintenance activity start to finish with proper documentation. Maintain sufficient spares on hand to affect rapid problem resolution for routineservice issues. Coordinate RMA processing and parts procurement as needed. Coordinate outside rental & staging services for special events as needed. Maintain accurate inventory on all AV/VTC systems including spare parts. Perform administrative tasks such as completing service tickets, maintainingactive status board on system readiness, etc. At the request of customer, review audiovisual design and builds.Items To ConsiderAVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary.
