Security Officer

Location: Grand Junction, CO, 81504 Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Position OverviewCitadel Security USA is seeking a full-time Unarmed Security Officer to assist with patient transportation services in a healthcare environment. This role involves driving between medical facilities and supporting patients during transfers, while maintaining a safe and respectful atmosphere at all times. The position requires reliability, strong awareness, and the ability to handle extended driving periods while interacting with patients and medical staff in a professional manner. Key ResponsibilitiesTransport patients between hospitals, clinics, and care facilities as assigned Support patients during entry and exit from vehicles with care and professionalism Maintain awareness of surroundings throughout each trip to ensure safety Follow all transportation procedures, safety standards, and company policies Communicate clearly with dispatch and medical personnel regarding trip status Document transport activity, including logs and any incidents Operate company vehicles safely and follow all traffic regulations Minimum QualificationsMust be at least 21 years of age Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Ability to pass a background screening Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, including days and overnight hours Strong communication skills and professional conduct Dependable and able to work independently Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in healthcare, transport, or a similar role Familiarity with long-distance driving and safety practices Ability to remain calm and attentive in patient-focused situations Training & Additional InformationTraining is provided before starting the role Driving record and background check must meet company standards Regular travel between healthcare facilities is required Work EnvironmentCombination of driving and on-site assistance at medical locations Regular interaction with patients, nurses, and healthcare staff Extended periods of driving, with occasional physical assistance Equal Opportunity EmployerCitadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
