Location: Grand Junction, CO 81504Pay Rate: $17.50 per hourEmployment Type: Part-TimeSchedule: Friday to Sunday: 3:30 PM - 11:15 PM | Every other ThursdayPosition OverviewCitadel Security USA is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for a retail site in Grand Junction. The role centers on maintaining a safe and organized environment while supporting both customers and store staff throughout the shift.This position works best for someone who is observant, easy to approach, and comfortable handling day-to-day situations in a busy retail setting.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct foot patrols inside the store and around the immediate exteriorMaintain a visible presence to discourage theft and disruptive behaviorAssist customers with basic questions or directions when neededWork with store personnel to support safety and daily operationsObserve activity and respond to concerns in a calm, professional mannerAddress minor disturbances following site proceduresDocument incidents and daily activity in written reportsShare updates with supervisors and store management as neededMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageStrong communication and people skillsAbility to stay calm in a fast-paced environmentReliable attendance and ability to work assigned shiftsBasic observation and report-writing abilityPreferred ExperienceBackground in security, retail, or customer serviceFamiliarity with loss prevention practicesExperience handling conflict in a professional settingWork EnvironmentRetail setting with regular interaction with customers and staffCombination of indoor and outdoor patrol dutiesExtended periods of standing and walkingEvening hours requiring steady awareness and responsivenessEqual Opportunity EmployerCitadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
