Digital Workflow Prototyping & Citizen Development Analyst
Overview
In this role you will rapidly prototype digital workflows to transform government processes. You will work with CAPDEV teams and end users to translate needs into MVP prototypes and pilots, using low-code/no-code platforms. You’ll design and test lightweight solutions, integrate data sources, and measure impact to drive adoption and improvements. You will collaborate with DevSecOps and enterprise teams to transition successful prototypes toward production, while maintaining security and sustainment.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop digital workflow proofs of concept and pilots using low-code/no-code and configurable platformsAnalyze current processes, document workflows, and translate needs into MVP prototype requirementsDesign, configure, develop, test, and improve digital solutions to reduce manual, document-centric processesConfigure data capture, roles, routing, validations, and approvals to support testing of redesigned workflowsIntegrate prototypes with data sources via APIs, databases, web services, and webhooksDevelop lightweight scripts and integrations as neededLeverage AI-assisted development to accelerate prototyping and iterative improvementConduct user testing and operational pilots to measure cycle time, effort, data quality, and adoptionPrepare transition packages and collaborate with DevSecOps, platform owners, and data teams to scale successful prototypesMaintain visibility of active CAPDEV prototypes, present findings and scaling recommendations to leadership
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in listed fields or 5+ years relevant experienceExperience with low-code/no-code or configurable-application developmentHands-on development of digital applications and prototypes2+ years with non-Microsoft low-code or rapid-development platforms and at least two distinct platformsExperience translating requirements to testable prototypes within 90 days or lessExperience working with users and stakeholders to redesign processesExperience integrating with APIs, databases, web services, and structured data exchangesExperience lifecycle, configuration, testing, security, and sustainment practicesPrototype preparation for continued development by other teamsActive NATO or National Secret clearance and valid NATO passport with travel restrictions to NATO nations not impliedAbility to work onsite full-timecollaborativecommunicationproblem-solvinglow-code/no-code platformsAPIsrelational databases/SQL
