This position is dedicated to growing and retaining existing key end users by providing exceptional support and ensuring customer satisfaction. As the face of the company in the field, the Client Advocate establishes strong relationships with multiple contacts within customer organizations, creating a barrier to competition and minimizing the impact of employee turnover. The primary focus of this role is business retention and improvement, which serves as a key performance metric. Working closely with the Enterprise Accounts team, the Client Advocate collaborates with Enterprise Directors and Sales Leaders to identify improvement opportunities and address evolving business goals within our key customers' fulfillment centers.Responsibilities:Exemplify the core values of Pregis: Integrity, Innovation, Collaboration, and Customer-FocusDemonstrate self-motivation and the ability to meet expectations with limited supervision, while effectively managing timeTravel frequently to customer facilities within a designated geographic regionUtilize strong project management skills to coordinate and execute implementation plans and schedulesManage new account launch activities, including machine requisitions and installationsDevelop relationships with local distribution representation partners and stakeholders at assigned fulfillment/distribution centers (Operations, Shipping, Packing, Purchasing, etc.)Collaborate with the Pregis field service team to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and strong facility relationships are establishedPossess exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as strong computer skillsGenerate relevant business reports and provide follow-up and recaps on all assigned action itemsSupport new product trials by providing updates, gathering customer feedback, identifying barriers to success, and addressing competitor responsesConduct packing and equipment operation training for new and existing customersAssist in building and maintaining customer profiles and strategic account management plansMonitor all competitive contact activity and customer turnoverIdentify opportunities to expand sales at existing sitesDemonstrate personal and professional effectiveness while working in cross-functional teamsSetting:Location: Reside in the greater Sacramento, CA area and support the larger West region (frequent air travel and overnight stays required).Customer facing: Travel to customer sites weekly and maintain a clean driving record (company vehicle provided).Autonomy: Efficiently and effectively work remotely from home when not traveling.Reporting structure:Reports to the Manager, Client SuccessEducation / Experience:University degree or college diploma preferred with a focus on business, packaging, or a technical majorDesirable experience includes project management, packaging, industrial engineering, fulfillment center operations, and supply chain fieldsSales, account management, engineering, and/or customer service experience is a plus#PP1Diversity and InclusionWe believe in diversity of thought and bringing together other traits and characteristics that make an individual bring a unique experience to Pregis.
