About the OpportunityWe’re seeking an HR Manager for a fast-growing, well-capitalized organization in the NYC area. This role offers high visibility with executive leadership, including the Chairman. This is not a maintenance role, it’s a builder opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-moving, evolving environments. 5 days in office - NYC. The RoleAs the HR Manager, you will take full ownership of HR across the organization, bringing structure, consistency, and scalability to people operations. This is a hands-on individual contributor role (no direct reports initially), requiring both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution.Key Responsibilities:Assess current HR processes and identify gapsBuild and implement core HR policies, systems, and infrastructureStrengthen talent acquisition and onboarding processesCreate repeatable workflows, checklists, and employee lifecycle frameworksAct as a trusted HR partner to leadership and employeesRoll up your sleeves and handle execution at all levelsWhat We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking someone who is comfortable operating in ambiguity and growth environments and enjoys building from the ground up. Ideal Candidate Profile:Experience in startup or early-stage/high-growth companiesSelf-directed, proactive, and execution-focusedProven track record scaling HR processes during periods of changeExperience building or owning: talent acquisition, onboarding, and core HR processes and policiesThis role is not suited to highly structured, bureaucratic corporate backgrounds.Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $120K–$140K depending on experience (no bonus)401(k) with 5% company matchUnlimited PTOComprehensive healthcare plans
