Schedule:Three 12-hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM -- 8:00 PM, seven days a week
Compensation:$60--$80/hour (based on experience) + bonusBenefits:Full-benefits package availablePosition SummaryWe are seeking aFull-Timeclinician to join our team inRound Rock, TX . This role is ideal for clinicians who valuevariety, autonomy, and meaningful community impactwhile practicing in a fast?paced, well?supported urgent care environment.Clinicians at NextCare enjoytrue work-life balance , including no after-hours tasks, flexible scheduling, and monthly schedules released in advance. Our full?time schedules are designed, so clinicians are off more days than they work.You'll be supported byexperienced clinical teams, strong peer relationships, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadershipwho provide real?time guidance and mentorship. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low?acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow-up.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
Code and bill services appropriately
Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
Required QualificationsActive, unrestrictedTXlicense forNP/PA
Board certification or eligibility, as applicablePA: NCCPA certification
NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required)Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
Ability to treat patients of all ages
Active BLS certification
EHR proficiency
Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)
Preferred QualificationsPrior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast?track experience
Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
Experience with initial x?ray interpretation prior to radiology over?read
