NEW Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric CICU Full-Time Nights Rotating Weekends Shift Options: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM or 11:00 PM 11:00 AMA premier women s and children s healthcare facility in Houston is seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse to join its highly specialized team. This hospital is nationally recognized for advanced maternal and pediatric care and is home to one of the region s leading neonatal and pediatric programs.This role focuses on caring for critically ill pediatric patients with congenital heart disease and post-surgical cardiac conditions in a collaborative, family-centered environment.What You ll Do• Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric cardiac patients • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, family-centered care plans • Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and healing environment • Participate in unit initiatives and performance improvement efforts • Educate patients and families as part of holistic nursing careRequired Qualifications• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license • Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN required within set timeframe) • Minimum 1 year recent Pediatric ICU RN experience in an acute care hospital • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 monthsPreferred Qualifications• CCRN certification • Children s Hospital experienceInterested!?
