JBT Marel is looking for a skilled electrician to join our team in Sabetha, KS.The RoleIn this position, you’ll install, maintain, and repair wiring and electrical systems for control equipment. We’re looking for someone who brings strong communication skills and thrives in a team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPlans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit.Builds and installs control and control equipment such as switches, relays.Connects power cables to equipment.Repairs faulty equipment or systems.Operate lift truck with certification.Other duties assigned due to the need of the business.Skills And AbilitiesStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentAbility to manage tasks and meet deadlinesComputer and ERP system familiarityOrganized, proactive, and detail orientedAbility to handle confidential information appropriatelyMust be able to pass a physical capacity profile and drug screenPhysical/Environmental RequirementsManufacturing setting with exposure to noise and moving machineryMay involve domestic and international travelBending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50lbs occasionallyEducation, Knowledge, and ExperienceTechnical degree- preferred.
