Cramer & Anderson is seeking a full-time Paralegal to support our transactional/land use practice in Pay: $45,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year.Job description:Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team in Danbury, CT. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including, but not limited to, land use, municipal law, tax appeals, civil litigation, and appellate litigation. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to attorneys and clients alike. The Paralegal will play a vital role in legal research, document management, and case preparation. Salary will be commensurate with experience.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and WestlawAssist in drafting legal documents, contracts, and correspondenceOpen and manage case files and maintain organized documentation using document management systemsReview and proofread legal documents for accuracy and complianceProvide executive administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars , answering phone calls, attend to the front door, entering attorney time, review and prepare monthly invoices, and coordinating with local municipalitiesAssist with litigation preparation, including filing motions and preparing exhibitsSupport various areas of law including land use, municipal law, tax appeals, civil litigation, and appellate litigationMaintain confidentiality of sensitive information while ensuring compliance with legal regulationsSkills5-7 years of proven paralegal experience in a law office settingStrong knowledge of legal case management processes and proceduresExcellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondenceStrong research skills with the ability to analyze complex information effectivelyExceptional organizational skills with attention to detail for document review and filingAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlinesStrong clerical experience including data entry and transcription tasksEffective phone etiquette for client interactions and communicationsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal management softwareBilingual in either Spanish or Portuguese, preferred but not requiredThis position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their careers in the legal field while contributing meaningfully to our team.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Health insurancePaid sick timePaid time offWork Location: In personInterested candidates should submit a resume and a brief cover letter to Partner Lisa Rivas by email at Lrivas@crameranderson.com
