Technical Specialist - Traffic

DescriptionGAI Consultants, Inc is seeking an Traffic Specialist to work within our Transportation & Infrastructure Business Unit. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment that will utilize their college education and related work experience to develop professionally into a well-rounded engineer with the ability to grow in today's global environment. It is anticipated that the candidate will successfully complete the FE examination in the near future, with an increase in responsibility.Office locations include Cranberry Township, Homestead, Cannonsburg, or Philadelphia, PA. Hybrid or remote work is available with residency required in the Commonwealth of PA. GAI is the right place for talented and motivated individuals who seek to distinguish themselves in a company poised for unlimited growth.Qualifications:Knowledge and experience with PennDOT and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.Transportation design including traffic design analysis and roadway design.Preparation of reports, maps, drawings, bid documents, and project plansProficient in Synchro and/or HCS softwareProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Knowledgeable in MicroStation with the familiarity of roadway design software such as OpenRoads Designer is desired.General CharacteristicsAcquires fundamental knowledge and develops skills in a specific practice area through mentored experience.Applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment.Understands and complies with ethical codes.Minimum Years of Experience2+Years of ExperienceEducationB.S.
