This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in talent acquisition while gaining hands-on experience in government contracting and compliance-driven hiring processes. The selected candidate will assist in sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate records while ensuring all recruitment activities align with federal and client-specific standards.ResponsibilitiesSource and identify qualified candidates for federal/government positions using job boards, social media platforms, internal databases, and professional networksScreen resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach to assess basic qualifications, clearance status, and availabilityFormat and tailor resume according to federal, government, and client-specific submission standardsCoordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring timely communication and updatesMaintain accurate and organized candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Conduct regular follow-ups with candidates to maintain engagement throughout the recruitment lifecycleSupport recruiters and hiring managers in preparing candidate submission packages and documentationBuild and maintain professional relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experienceStay informed about federal hiring regulations, clearance requirements, and industry best practicesRequirements0–2 years of experience in recruitment, recruiting coordination, or HR support, preferably supporting federal or government clientsBasic understanding of federal hiring processes, clearance types, and compliance requirementsExperience sourcing candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, or other recruiting toolsStrong resume formatting and documentation skills aligned with government submission standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Preferred QualificationsPrior experience supporting federal or government contracting recruitmentFamiliarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or similar toolsUnderstanding of security clearance terminology (e.g., Public Trust, Secret, Top Secret)Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldInterest in building a long-term career in talent acquisition or government staffing#J-18808-Ljbffr
