Admissions Recruitment Coordinator
Position Information:Bismarck State College is looking for an energetic, relationship-focused Admission Recruitment Coordinator to help future students discover all that BSC has to offer! If you enjoy connecting with people, planning impactful events, building strong partnerships, and helping students take the next step toward their goals, this could be the perfect fit. From coordinating recruitment initiatives to representing BSC at college fairs and campus events, this role plays a key part in shaping the student experience from first contact to enrollment.In this position, you'll:Lead and coordinate recruitment operations, outreach events, campus visits, and student engagement initiativesRepresent BSC at in-state and out-of-state college fairs, career events, and community outreach opportunitiesBuild relationships with prospective students, families, school counselors, and campus partnersManage a recruitment territory and guide students through the admissions and enrollment processCollaborate on recruitment campaigns through email, texting, and other communication platformsSupervise and mentor student ambassadors while helping create a positive, collaborative team environmentSupport innovative ideas and projects that enhance recruitment and enrollment servicesThe ideal candidate is organized, people-centered, adaptable, and excited to share the BSC story with students from all backgrounds. Evening and weekend events, along with occasional travel, are part of this dynamic and rewarding role.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSAppropriate bachelor's degree and two years of directly related experience.Ability to recruit for and promote BSC offerings.Exceptional project management skills.Proficient in building relationships and public speaking.Excellent written communication skills.Must have exemplary customer service skills.Ability to take initiative, make independent judgments/decisions, and work as a team member.Proficient in working knowledge of computer software programs (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, Outlook), and Teams, and excellent keyboarding skills.Must be able to represent BSC's polytechnic mission with enthusiasm, energy, and poise.Must be willing to travel and work evenings and weekends as necessary.Must have a current, valid driver's license.PREFERENCESPrior Experience in a College Admissions/Enrollment Services position.Prior experience using admissions Customer Relationship Management software.Post-secondary educational degree in marketing, communication, or education.Prior sales or marketing experience.Familiar with PeopleSoft or another student administrative software.Working knowledge and/or understanding of the varying needs and concerns facing new traditional and non-traditional students.Prior supervisor experience or demonstrated promiseBENEFITSCOMPENSATION: $45,936-$57,420 based on education and directly related experience; Exempt100% employer-paid family health insurance, life insurance, retirement, employee tuition waiver, spouse/dependent tuition discount.
