This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your construction expertise while working alongside experienced professionals committed to excellence. *Responsibilities* * Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging * Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing * Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to execute specific tasks accurately * Install rebar, formwork, and masonry elements following blueprint specifications and safety standards * Conduct concrete work including pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping to ensure smooth surfaces and structural integrity * Support in the installation of hardscape features like walkways, patios, and retaining walls * Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone on-site *Experience* * Previous experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is highly preferred * Knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading is advantageous * Familiarity with concrete forming, concrete finishing techniques, and masonry work is a plus * Ability to operate heavy equipment such as mixers, pumps, or forklifts demonstrates versatility * Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and proper use of hand tools and power tools * Experience with renovation projects or flooring installation enhances your suitability for this role * Proven ability to lift heavy materials safely and work effectively on diverse construction sites Embark on a rewarding career where your skills build more than structures — they build your future!
