Manufacturing Process Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize our operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will analyze processes, develop innovative solutions, and implement strategies to reduce waste and enhance productivity. Your expertise in AutoCAD and Lean Manufacturing will be crucial in designing efficient workflows and layouts.
Responsibilities
Analyze work samples and methods to establish and refine labor standards.
Enhance labor utilization through the study of work methods and the design of improved processes.
Streamline workflow by evaluating process flow charts and recommending modifications to workstations and product flow.
Minimize waste by assessing methods, equipment, and operator techniques, and implementing corrective measures.
Collaborate with management and engineering teams to implement effective work improvement programs.
Compile and present work-analysis reports, summarizing key findings and trends.
Lead work improvement projects by providing training and guidance to operators and supervisors.
Maintain up-to-date operations guidelines by developing and revising policies, procedures, and methods.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Proficiency in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering principles.
Preferred Skills
1-3+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Experience with CAD Software, particularly AutoCAD.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
