Travel RN - Med/Surg - Neuro

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Progressive Care night shift position in New York, requiring an active NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.Job Details• Work in a Neuro Progressive Care unit within a hospital setting,• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30,• Care for neurological patient population on the D5E unit,• Electronic charting with Epic EMR, previous Epic experience required,• No blocked scheduling permitted,• More than three call outs in a 13 week period will result in contract termination, with required make up shifts,Job Requirements• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration,• Minimum of 2 years recent Neuro Progressive Care experience,• BLS certification from AHA or RQI required,• Proven experience with Epic EMR is required,• Competency testing required; ICU units must pass ICU test, Med/Surg nurses with less than 2 years must pass Med/Surg testing,• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months,• US Social Security Number required for consideration (no Canadian SIN accepted),• Facility allows only medical exemptions for flu vaccination, signed by a licensed professional,Additional Information• Candidates who live in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible for this position,• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment,• All required competency modules and forms must be completed prior to beginning the assignment,• Requests for time off must be submitted with application,
