We are an early-stage, mission-driven team focused on solving loneliness through intentional, real-world connection.OverviewWe’re looking for a highly social, outgoing, community-minded person to help grow Owting’s presence across Los Angeles. This is a boots-on-the-ground growth role for someone who naturally loves meeting people, discovering fun events, building relationships, and connecting communities together.You will help Owting become embedded in LA culture by building partnerships, attending events, creating local buzz, and turning real-world communities into growth channels.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage local partnerships across Los AngelesConnect with run clubs, gyms, cafés, wellness brands, co-working spaces, universities, creators, and community organizationsAttend social events, networking events, fitness events, pop-ups, and community gatherings representing OwtingIdentify fun, culturally relevant opportunities for Owting to show up in the real worldDevelop grassroots growth initiatives and local activation strategiesCreate partnerships that drive awareness, signups, and engagementHelp organize community events, collaborations, and local experiencesAct as a connector between Owting and the broader LA social ecosystemQualificationsNaturally outgoing, social, and relationship-oriented personalityPassion for community, events, culture, wellness, nightlife, fitness, or social experiencesStrong communication and networking skillsComfortable meeting new people and representing a brand in public settingsSelf-starter with strong energy and initiativeAbility to thrive in fast-moving startup environmentsStrong understanding of social culture and trends, especially in Los AngelesPreferred (not required)Existing network within LA communities, wellness spaces, fitness groups, creative circles, or startupsExperience in partnerships, community growth, events, hospitality, influencer marketing, or brand activationsExperience organizing events or building communities online or offlineInterest in startups, consumer apps, or social platformsPassion for solving loneliness and helping people build meaningful real-world connectionsWhat We OfferDirect impact on company growth and local expansionHigh autonomy and fast execution environmentOpportunity to help shape a mission-driven consumer platform from the ground upClear path to transition into a paid role post-funding based on performance and company growthEquity ownership opporunity in OwtingWhy This RoleThis is a foundational community growth role focused on helping Owting become part of the everyday social fabric of Los Angeles.
