Software Validation Engineer

You will be responsible for developing and executing software validation test plans, performing functional, integration, and system-level testing on embedded software and vehicle control systems, and validating software features across vehicle electronic systems. You will collect and analyze test data using Data Acquisition (DAQ) equipment and diagnostic tools, identify and document software defects, troubleshoot software and system integration issues, determine root causes, and collaborate closely with software, electrical, and systems engineering teams to improve product functionality, safety, and reliability. This is a Temp-to-Perm position required to be fully On-site. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited university 3-5 years of experience in validation engineering in the manufacturing or automotive industry Proficiency in engineering software/tools (Microsoft Office, Python, CAN, Autosar, etc.) Pluses: Bus industry experience preferred Familiarity with state, federal, and Canadian regulation affecting school buses Experience with simulation tools and capabilities and interpreting output Current valid commercial driver’s license (CDL-P) Master’s degree in engineering field #VIS
