In this role, you will play a crucial part in the poultry processing process, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. No previous experience is required as we provide on-the-job training to help you succeed in this role. Key Responsibilities: Poultry Processing: - Assist in the processing of poultry products, to include but not limited to slaughter, evisceration, chilling, parting, and packaging. - Help facilitate compliance with all local and federal poultry processing guidelines. - Work with other team members in all pre and post -operation cleaning and sanitizing. Quality Assurance: - Perform visual inspections to identify defects or abnormalities in poultry products. - Report any quality issues or concerns to the supervisor or quality control team. Safety and Compliance: - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. - Comply with all health and safety regulations and procedures. Team Collaboration: - Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines. - Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Equipment Operation: - Operate and maintain processing equipment under the guidance of experienced team members. Qualifications No prior experience required Basic understanding of food processing and manufacturing Familiarity with sanitation and food safety practices Mechanical knowledge and ability to work with food processing equipment Knife skills and experience in meat cutting preferred Awareness of OSHA and HACCP standards is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment Pay: From $17.25 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance On-the-job training Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Burton, TX 77835 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
