In this role, you'll take ownership of assigned routes, drive the street sweeper, and operate specialized equipment to keep streets clean and well-maintained. Safety & Inspections: Complete required pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is safe and operational before starting work. Equipment & Material Handling: Operate equipment safely and efficiently, follow traffic laws and site protocols, and handle materials according to disposal and safety procedures. Reporting & Documentation: Immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns and accurately complete required logs and paperwork. Professional Communication: Represent the Company professionally and communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients. Adaptability & Reliability: Respond effectively to changing conditions, solve problems as they arise, and maintain regular, predictable attendance. Minimum Job Requirements: Minimum job qualifications define the essential skills, experience, and abilities needed to succeed in the role. They set the baseline for hiring but may evolve as the job and business requirements change: Education: High School or GED Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience waste & recycling services experience preferred License: CDL-B & DOT Medical Card Age: Must be at least 21 years of age Compliance: Must maintain an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, background check, and drug screening in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.
