Sr Manager, Learning Strategy
Overview
In this role you will shape and drive integrated learning strategies that support Disney Experiences’ priorities and leadership expectations. You lead a team of L&D professionals, translating business needs into impactful learning roadmaps and measurable outcomes. You’ll partner with HR, Talent Management, and business leaders to influence decisions and ensure adoption across a global, matrixed organization. This is a strategic, impact-driven leadership role at the intersection of people, performance, and business results.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute integrated learning strategies aligned with business priorities and leadership expectationsLead a portfolio of learning initiatives, balancing impact, learner needs, resources, timing, and readinessTranslate strategies and talent initiatives into clear learning roadmaps and prioritiesGuide design and sustainment of learning experiences using adult learning and instructional design principlesEstablish project plans, roles, risks, and dependencies for multiple projectsOversee organizational readiness and adoption efforts for new or changing learning experiencesEvaluate learning effectiveness and business impact using qualitative and quantitative measuresCommunicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leaders and partnersLead, coach, and develop a team of L&D professionalsFoster an inclusive, collaborative environment and allocate work across priorities
Key requirements5+ years in Learning & Development, talent development, organization development, leadership development, or performance consulting5+ years of progressive people leadership experienceExperience developing learning strategies aligned with business priorities with robust project managementStrong knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, leadership development, and performance improvementExperience consulting with senior leaders, HR partners, Talent Management, and cross-functional stakeholdersProven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from strategy through evaluationExperience defining success measures and using data to evaluate learning effectiveness and business impactStrong executive communication, facilitation, influencing, and relationship-management skillsAbility to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-changing, matrixed environmentStrong business acumen and ability to connect learning investments to outcomesCommitment to inclusive workplace design for diverse, global audiencesexecutive communicationinfluencing and relationship managementfacilitation and stakeholder managementadult learninginstructional designleadership development
