We're seeking a Project Controls Estimator with strong Mechanical estimating experience to support large-scale industrial, manufacturing, and technology infrastructure projects in Austin, TX.  In this role, you'll partner with Project Managers, Field Engineering, and Construction teams to develop accurate cost estimates, perform detailed quantity takeoffs, manage project budgets, and support cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle. The primary focus is Mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and utilities, with additional exposure to Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) scopes.    Job Title: Project Controls Estimator Location: Austin, TX Pay Range: $53/hour   Key Responsibilities:  Develop detailed estimates and quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications  Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to build estimates from the ground up  Manage project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting  Support change management and change order processes  Create cost reports and dashboards for project stakeholders and leadership  Assist with risk management, earned value tracking, and project controls initiatives  Collaborate across engineering, construction, and project management teams to drive project success  Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience  5+ years of estimating and/or project controls experience  Experience supporting large-scale construction projects, including manufacturing facilities, production plants, industrial facilities, or data centers  Strong Mechanical estimating background with expertise in HVAC, plumbing, piping, and utilities  Experience reviewing construction drawings and performing quantity takeoffs  Familiarity with CSA (Civil, Structural, and Architectural) construction scopes  Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting  Strong communication and stakeholder management skills    Upon completion of waiting period, consultants are eligible for:  Medical and Prescription Drug Plans  Dental Plan  Vision Plan  Health Savings Account  Health Flexible Spending Account  Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account  Supplemental Life Insurance  Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance  Business Travel Insurance  401(k), Plus Match  Weekly Pay  If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
