HSE SITE MANAGER - Austin Industrial - Plaquemine, LA

Manages the site safety program on an assigned project. Manages the team of safety professionals on their assigned project site. Educates and trains Austin project staff in safety requirements, best practices, and incident prevention. Ensures compliance with company and customer safety policies.ResponsibilitiesBuild working relationships with customer representatives, project staff, and subcontractor representativesCreate accurate safety reports and accident investigation documentsLead and participate in safety training and subcontractor developmentRepresent the company in a positive and professional manner with customers and subcontractorsCreate and facilitate safety trainings and orientations aligned with project specifics and schedulesParticipate in safety organizations outside the company and within the assigned regionEnsure compliance with the company's current safety manual and policiesDevelop and maintain the site Safety Execution Plan (SEP) and facilitate annual reviewsEngage in cross-site activities, including cross-audit opportunities with regional or area managersQualificationsOSHA 30 requiredPreferred certifications: BCSP OHST, BCSP CHST, NCCER Construction Safety Technician, NCCER Safety Technology, OSHA 500, OSHA 501, or equivalentMinimum of three years of progressive experience in safety and health processesIndustrial, manufacturing, and construction experience preferredPosition Specific Success FactorsCustomer FocusDecision MakingBuilding a Successful TeamDriving for ResultsPlanning and OrganizingConflict ManagementAustin Industrial is an Equal Opportunity Employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
