ControllerPosition Overview: Our client is seeking a Controller to oversee daily accounting operations and support the overall financial health of the organization. Reporting to executive leadership, this role manages core accounting functions, ensures compliance and internal controls, supports financial reporting and analysis, and drives process improvements within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Inventory Valuation, and Government BillingMaintain accounting systems, internal controls, and financial compliance processesLead month-end, quarterly, and annual close activities to meet reporting deadlinesPrepare financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations for executive leadershipSupport process improvements and implementation of accounting best practicesManage external bank reporting and internal financial reporting requirementsAdminister retirement plan compliance and related reportingCoordinate annual external audits and serve as primary audit liaisonOversee tax compliance and filings with external advisorsConduct periodic audits of fixed assets and inventorySupport special projects and additional finance initiatives as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred8+ years of accounting and leadership experienceManufacturing industry experience preferredStrong knowledge of financial operations and accounting processesAdvanced Excel skills requiredExperience with payroll and accounting systems such as Paycom or ADP preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and leadership skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretionAbility to work independently in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a collaborative team mindset
