Non-Invasive CardiologyPosition Overview:UNC Health Pardee is seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Cardiologist to join our esteemed cardiology team in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. This role emphasizes a comprehensive approach to patient care, including preventive cardiology, chronic disease management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Practice Environment: Robust outpatient cardiovascular testing lab.Fixed Cath lab.Excellent clinical support system.Cardiac Rehab program.Clinic and hospital both utilize EPIC EMR.Large referral base.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.Develop and implement individualized care plans that emphasize preventive cardiology and lifestyle modifications.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and coordinated care.Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.Participate in on-call rotations, providing timely and expert care for urgent cardiac issues.Engage in patient education to promote heart health and disease prevention.Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in accordance with hospital policies.Qualifications:Medical degree from an accredited institution.Board certification in Cardiology.Valid medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina.Strong clinical skills in managing a variety of cardiovascular conditions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.Growth minded.Benefits:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Annual quality bonus availableRelocation assistanceStudent loan assistanceOpportunities for professional development and continuing education.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Access to state-of-the-art facilities and technology.About UNC Health Pardee:UNC Health Pardee is a leading healthcare provider serving the Hendersonville community and surrounding areas.
