Southwest Medical Associates (SMA) is a multi-specialty group of physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants consisting of over 300 providers, 21 medical health centers including six urgent care clinics, four convenient care centers, two lifestyle centers catering to older adults, an outpatient surgery center, plus E-visits and online options via Now Clinic telemedicine technology. SMA has an exciting practice opportunity for a Board-Certified Cardiologist at our Las Vegas, Nevada clinic. As a cardiologist in this practice, you will administer comprehensive, non-invasive cardiology care in an outpatient setting. The focus is on preventative health and the management of stable chronic conditions. Primary Responsibilities: Provide cardiovascular medical management in an outpatient clinic setting for adults, including general and preventative care, conducting physical examinations, treating and managing cardiovascular disease, ordering diagnostic testing and labs, and prescribing medication Provide comprehensive cardiology health assessments to treat and manage patient care Follow comprehensive plans that include intervention and treatment to attain expected outcomes Identify expected outcomes derived from the assessment data and diagnoses and individualize expected outcomes with the patient specific populations and with the health care team Job Highlights: Very desirable Monday through Friday schedule with no hospital call required Attractive base salary, sign on bonus, and quarterly bonus plan Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and life insurance, STD/LTD, professional liability, matching 401K, relocation costs, as well as PTO, 8 paid company holidays and one week of paid CME You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Nevada Residents Only:The salary range for this role is $432,209 to $676,518 annually. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
