Urology Physician

Facility in Paducah, KY seeking Urology locums coverage Rates: $3000 + $350/hr Opportunity Highlights Schedule: 1 2 weekends per month (Thursday or Friday AM through Monday AM). Clinical Setting: 359-bed regional referral center; Inpatient/Hospital-based. Robotics: While not currently required, the facility features 3 surgical robots and can accommodate a urologist with a robotic skillset. Team Dynamics: You will manage the urology service during the assignment. While the practice has two APRNs, they are clinic-based and do not provide inpatient support. Credentialing: Approximately 90 days; Temporary privileges are available. Clinical Responsibilities The locum physician will be responsible for the full urology service during the coverage window, including: Taking all hospital and emergency consults. Rounding on all patients currently on the urology service. Performing necessary emergent or urgent procedures and surgeries. Required Procedures: General Urology Advanced Endoscopic Techniques Ureteroscopy Laser Certification Provider Requirements Board Status: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (Required). Licensure: Active Kentucky (KY) medical license is preferred; IMLC candidates are accepted. Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS (Required). Health Compliance: Flu Shot (Required); COVID-19 Vaccination (Highly Preferred). Submission Mandatory: A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is required.
