The Life Insurance Internal Wholesaler position has the primary responsibility to assist Financial Advisors with the sale of Term Insurance through Covr's insurance platform. This is largely an outbound calling position where you will educate advisors on term sales ideas, assist with the use of Covr's digital platform and build relationships with advisors. We are looking for someone that has strong phone/zoom General life insurance knowledge and ability to learn internal CRM and quoting tools is expected.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Answer calls from Financial Advisors to assist with question on term insurance products and how to submit through the Covr platform.Make proactive, outbound calls to Financial Advisors with the goal of promoting insurance concepts and driving advisors to our platform to do business.Refer advisors to our Regional Insurance Consultants for permanent sales opportunities.Works in partnership with Regional Insurance Consultant to grow insurance sales within assigned Account/Region.Perform demos of our insurance platform over zoom.Continually learns and assists in guiding financial advisors on the use of the Covr digital insurance platform.Learns and assists in communicating benefits and features of various insurance products based on client needs.Performs other duties and projects as assigned.JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Preferred Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experienceMinimum of 1 year Life Insurance or Financial service industry experienceLife and health insurance license required/Series 6 & 63 or ability to obtain preferredKnowledge and Skills:Go Getter, sales mentality with proven track record of high performance/activityStrong customer service skills with a strong positive phone presenceExcellent verbal communication skills, ability to build phone-based relationshipsAbility to articulate message quickly and effectively over the phoneMust be a self-starter and ability to learn independently through experienceAbility to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentStrong work ethic and high level of personal integrity and accountabilityProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelBENEFITS PACKAGE:We offer a competitive benefits package:Salary range of $55,000Paid Time Off (PTO): 3 weeks to start, increasing with years of servicePaid holiday's – 11 daysMedical, Dental and Vision – 80% of monthly premium paid by Covr for all full-time employeesAdult and child orthodontiaHealth Savings Account (HSA) with quarterly company contributionsShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityNEW - Pet insurance for cats and dogs!Company paid Life and AD&D insurance for all full-time employees.Supplemental Life and AD&D insurance up to 5x's salary for employeeSupplemental Life and AD& D plans offered for spouse and dependentsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs): medical, dependent, parking and transitPlease note that we do not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.Powered by JazzHR
