The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building modern Android applications using the latest Android SDK, Android Studio, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern architectural patterns.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.Build modern, scalable, and maintainable mobile applications using Jetpack Compose and MVVM architecture.Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp.Implement dependency injection using Dagger/Hilt.Utilize Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming.Work with reactive programming frameworks such as RxJava or similar technologies.Write and maintain automated UI and unit tests using Espresso and related testing frameworks.Use Git for source control and collaborative development.Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and production issues using Splunk.Work with Honeycomb for observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.Follow Android development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.Required SkillsStrong experience with the latest Android SDK and Android Studio.Hands-on experience with Kotlin and modern Android development.Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose.Experience with MVVM architecture.Experience with Dagger and Hilt dependency injection.Strong knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines.Experience with Retrofit and OkHttp.Experience with RxJava or a similar reactive programming framework.Experience writing UI tests using Espresso.Strong experience with Git and version control.Experience with Splunk for application monitoring and troubleshooting.Familiarity with Honeycomb and observability tools.Preferred QualificationsExperience developing enterprise-scale Android applications.Strong understanding of Android application architecture and lifecycle.Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
