Clinical Systems Analyst II / Systems Analyst III - Epic

You will support project teams involved in the development and implementation of clinical systems, manage assigned projects, and contribute to feasibility studies, estimating, planning, designing, development, quality assurance, prototyping, implementation, evaluation, and system modifications.Additionally, this position defines training requirements for end-users and project team members to ensure successful adoption and system effectiveness.We will hire our Clinical Systems Analyst in two different job titles, based on educational background: Clinical Systems Analyst IISystems Analyst IIIA caregiver in this position works remotely in Ohio, Florida, or Nevada, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m., with an on-call rotation one week every 10–12 weeks. This role includes less than 5% travel.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Clinical Systems Analyst IIParticipate in the design, development, implementation, modification and evaluation of health care information systems.Recommend automated and manual solutions to enhance system functionality.Participate in Project teams associated with the development and implementation of clinical systems.Interact with end-users as required to assist in problem definition and system design.Coordinate and perform education and end-user training programs to assure systems are utilized as designed.Develop end-user documentation or a permanent reference for clear, concise information.Provide implementation assistance for system projects through all phases of the system development life cycle.Assist with system build, data validation and system testing.Other duties as assigned.Systems Analyst IIIManage projects.Participate in feasibility studies, estimating, planning, design, development, quality assurance, prototyping, implementation, evaluation and modification of automated systems.Define training requirements for end-users and project team members.Recommend automated and manual solutions to enhance system functionality.Coordinate on-site systems administration and support activities.Interact with end-users as required to assist in problem definition and system design.Coordinate and conduct education and end-user training programs to assure systems are utilized as designed.Develop end-user documentation or a permanent reference for clear, concise information.Assist with system build, data validation and system testing.Other duties as assigned.Clinical Systems Analyst II:Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor’s degree in related field and three years of applicable hospital or major medical center clinical experience or two years of recent experience supporting a major clinical information systemOR Associate’s degree and five years of relevant experienceOR High School diploma/GED and six or more years of relevant experienceOR Master’s degree and two years of experienceExperience typically supported by license in a medically related field such as nursing, pharmacy assistant, medical assistant, medical technology or EMTFamiliar with the processes and procedures related to health care regulatory agenciesIn depth knowledge of clinical theory and practiceTechnical certification may be requiredFor Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within six months of position start datePreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:In-depth knowledge of Cleveland Clinic revenue cycle processes/workflowsCertification in Epic applications related to revenue cycleEpicCare Ambulatory certificationFor Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start dateSystems Analyst III:Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor’s degree in related field and five years of hospital or major medical center clinical experience or three years of recent experience implementing and supporting a major clinical information systemOR High School diploma/GED and eight or more years of relevant experienceOR Associate’s degree and seven years of relevant experienceOR Master’s degree and four years of experienceDemonstrated leadership skillsExcellent at problem solving and relationship buildingExperience typically supported by license in a medically related field such as nursing, pharmacy assistant, medical assistant, medical technology or EMTTechnical certification may be requiredPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Master’s degreeIn-depth knowledge of Cleveland Clinic revenue cycle processes/workflowsCertification in Epic applications related to revenue cycleEpicCare Ambulatory certificationFor Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start dateThe compensation range provided corresponds to the Clinical Systems Analyst IIor Systems Analyst III position. Individual pay rates may vary depending on education, background and relevant experience*Physical Requirements: Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.In some locations, ability to move up to 20 lbs.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum Annual Salary: $69,600.00Maximum Annual Salary: $106,132.50The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
