Quick Job Summary Position: PACU Registered Nurse (RN) / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 15, 2026) Location: Green Bay, WI 54311 (Green Bay healthcare, Wisconsin nursing jobs) Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230 Shift & Hours: 8-hour Evening Shifts, Monday–Friday; 40 hours/week Job Details Clinical Setting: Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU & Maternity Center Units: Main PACU and East PACU (float between Phase I and Phase II Recovery) On-Site Parking: Free Scrubs: Any solid color, professional (no logos/graphics) EMR: EPIC experience preferred Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience (Phase I and Phase II required) Active RN license Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications CAPA or CPAN certification (either accepted) Experience with post-cath, bronchs, and IR patient recovery highly preferred Proficiency reading/interpreting cardiac rhythms and managing cardiac drips EPIC EMR experience preferred First-time travel nurses considered with extensive PACU experience Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care for pediatric and adult patients in the PACU Monitor and recover patients across a broad range of surgical specialties (general, plastics, urology, GI, bariatrics, GYN, minor vascular, neurosurgery, robotics, ophthalmology, ortho, cardiothoracic, ENT, endovascular, fistulas, bronchs, post-cath, post-IR/Neuro IR) Float between Phase I and Phase II Recovery as patient needs dictate Deliver clear discharge instructions and patient education focused on safe recovery Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, LPNs, anesthesiologists, and surgeons Assist with intubated patients and advanced airway management when required Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC This travel nurse role is an excellent PACU nursing job for experienced post-anesthesia care nurses and perioperative RNs looking for short-term assignments in Green Bay, WI.
