Global Process Manager

A global leader in the cement and building materials industry is seeking an experienced Global Process Manager to join its international Technical Services team. This role supports plant performance improvement, process design for major CAPEX projects, decarbonisation initiatives, and commissioning of new production lines.This role is an EXPERT in Pyro-processing activities and will be focused on developing global strategy around equipment, projects, and sustainability. Key ResponsibilitiesLead process design for CAPEX projects and optimise existing plant performance.Conduct plant performance audits, implement recommendations, and deliver measurable improvements.Analyse operational data to reduce heat consumption, enhance efficiency, and maximise clinker output.Support plant troubleshooting across pyroprocessing, raw materials, grinding, and alternative fuels.Lead major equipment and production line commissioning activities.Coordinate performance tests, benchmarking studies, and due diligence assessments.Share best practices and provide training to plant process teams.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Chemical, Mining, etc.).15+ years' experience in cement manufacturing, including plant operations and central technical roles.Deep expertise in pyroprocessing (kiln, preheater, cooler) and alternative fuels.Strong background in process design and process measurement tools.Experience commissioning cement plant equipment or full production lines.Excellent understanding of clinker chemistry, mineralogy, and grinding systems.Strong analytical skills with ability to challenge and influence plant teams.High degree of international travel to various sitesExcellent communication in English.Why Join?Work with a global team of leading cement process experts.Influence major sustainability and decarbonisation projects.Engage in high-impact OPEX and CAPEX initiatives across multiple countries.Remote role with strong autonomy and international exposure.
