Sr. Migration Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Migration Engineer for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL(Remote). The candidate must have hands‐on expertise in tenant‐to‐tenant and G‐Suite‐to‐365 migrations to lead end‐to‐end discovery, remediation, and execution activities.Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Sr. Migration Engineer job responsibilities include:* Lead end‐to‐end migration efforts, including discovery, remediation, testing, execution, and post‐migration support across tenant‐to‐tenant and G‐Suite‐to‐365 environments.* Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, IT teams, and vendors to understand requirements and deliver migration solutions that align with organizational standards.* Ensure all migration activities adhere to governance, architectural blueprints, and defined operating procedures to maintain system integrity.* Document high‐ and low‐level designs, build procedures, application handover materials, and disaster‐recovery documentation for all assigned systems.* Resolve key design decisions, escalating when necessary to support the development of stable, cost‐effective, and compliant systems.* Work closely with infrastructure and information management teams to ensure that system changes are clearly communicated, aligned, and properly integrated across the IT landscape.Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.* 6-8 years of experience performing end‐to‐end migrations across tenant‐to‐tenant and G‐Suite‐to‐365 environments.* Strong hands‐on expertise with Quest‐On‐Demand and deep experience executing full migration cycles including discovery, cleanup, testing, execution, and post‐migration support.* Proven ability to ensure architectural compliance, produce complete technical documentation, and collaborate effectively with cross‐functional teams throughout M&A migration processes.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
