Pegasus employs over 1,000 professionals, services more than 300 facilities, and operates under ISO 9001:2015 and LEED certifications, consistently elevating cleaning standards for critical environments.Role Description The Operations Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Long Beach, CA. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining training programs that equip Pegasus employees to perform safely and effectively in critical environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting classroom and hands-on training sessions, onboarding new team members, and reinforcing Pegasus standards such as CECC, PegAssure, and OS1 processes. The Operations Trainer will assess training needs, update curriculum and training materials, and track training completion and performance metrics. The role collaborates closely with operations leaders, quality assurance, and safety teams to ensure training aligns with regulatory requirements, client expectations, and continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Training & Development and Training skills, including experience facilitating group sessions and one-on-one coaching.Candidates should possess Instructional Design skills to create, update, and improve training materials, SOPs, and e-learning resources.Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal presentation, written documentation, and the ability to adapt messages for different audiences.Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to evaluate training effectiveness, interpret performance data, and identify gaps in knowledge or compliance.Experience training frontline operations staff in facilities, cleaning, safety, or critical environments is highly beneficial.Familiarity with ISO standards, GMP, or other regulatory frameworks is an advantage.Proficiency with basic office and presentation software (e.g., MS Office, presentation tools, LMS platforms) is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in education, organizational development, or related fields is a plus.
