Manufacturing Engineer (Tooling)

. Lead the design and development of manufacturing, assembly, welding, and inspection fixtures using SolidWorks. . Create complete 3D fixture layouts, assemblies, and detailed fabrication drawings using GD&T. . Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to validate fixture concepts, support trials, and resolve shop. Floor issues. . Drive process capability and productivity improvements through effective fixture solutions. . Develop and maintain standardized work instructions incorporating fixture usage, operator guidance, and safety considerations. * Study Assembly Lines/ Processesand identify areas for improvement as per Lean Principles * Perform Time Study and Line Balancing - Elemental breakdown, Video Time study– All Processes (Stations & Operator), VA/NVA/RNVA analysis, Develop Current State Line Balancing, Muri Analysis * Develop Value Stream Mapping - Current State VSM - Identify bottlenecks, wastes and inefficiencies, Capacity analysis and Current baselining, Future State VSM, Current state vs Future state * Identify Process and productivity improvement opportunities for entire process with Level 1,2,3 improvement suggestions report and roadmap * Develop/ re-write Standard work instructions, Video work instructions * *Analysis of Root Cause for the quality failures, defects, downtimes etc., and support in corrective action & Kaizen / improvement identification with detailed implementation plan* * Support in Fixture design as per requirements Qualification: * 'Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Manufacturing Engineering *Skills:* - Shopfloor Experience is mandatory - Fixture Design & Manufacturing - Work Instructions, - Time Study - Line Balancing - Continuous Improvement - VSM - Lean Manufacturing Pay: $72,812.51 - $84,688.18 per year Work Location: In person
