The Interior Architecture & Design Faculty & Program Director mentors and engages students in an active learning environment committed to quality education, student-centeredness, open dialogue, and collaboration, as well as engages in departmental, college, and university-wide committee work curriculum development, portfolio review, undergraduate and graduate advisement, student outcome assessment, student recruitment, and involvement in professional organizations. Responsibilities include functioning well in a technological environment with experience or proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite and teaching courses in 2D and 3D manual drafting and sketching, building systems and technologies, color and light, computer aided drafting and design, and foundational through upper-level interior design studios, history of interior design and architecture, human factors, manual and digital rendering and presentation techniques, materials, systems, technologies, and specifications, and sustainability.
