The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of internet-scale solution development using Java, Spring Boot, and NoSQL databases, with a strong command of reactive and functional programming paradigms.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based microservices at internet scaleBuild asynchronous reactive microservices using Vert.x and Spring WebFluxDevelop and expose REST APIs using Spring Boot 2.0 (reactive) with OpenAPI/Swagger specificationsDesign database schemas, index strategies, and perform query tuning and optimizationWrite clean, maintainable code and actively participate in peer code and architecture reviewsApply Test Driven Development practices across the software lifecycleCollaborate with engineering teams using modern tooling including Git workflows, Gradle, and load testing frameworksRequired SkillsJava 11 - Lambdas, Streams, Completable Future, Optional, GenericsSpring Boot - WebFlux, Reactor 3, Spring Data, RESTReactive and functional programming in JavaVert.x for asynchronous reactive microservicesOpenAPI / Swagger specificationNoSQL database design and optimizationCloud technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Jaeger, PrometheusMessaging systems: Kafka, MQModern tooling: Git workflows, Gradle, mock frameworks, load testing toolsPreferred SkillsJava certificationExperience with large-scale distributed systemsLocation & Work ModelPhoenix, AZ - Day 1 Onsite.
