We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Glendale, CA. This is an excellent chance to work in an outpatient primary care setting with a full-time schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in family medicine and be comfortable treating patients of all ages.Position Overview:Job Title: Family Medicine Physician (Primary Care)Location: Near Glendale, CAStart Date: December 2, 2024 (Flexible start date options of either 12/02/2024 or 12/09/2024)Contract Duration: 3+ monthsShift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No weekends or call)Schedule: 7 hours of patient care daily, plus 1 hour for administrative dutiesDaily Patient Volume: 18-20 patients per dayPatient Population: All ages, from pediatrics to geriatricsProcedures: Minor in-office procedures such as cyst removal, laceration repair, skin biopsies, and incision and drainageElectronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic experience is highly preferredJob Requirements:Board Certification: Family Medicine Board Certification is preferred but not requiredLicensure: Must have an active and unrestricted California medical licenseDEA License: RequiredCertifications: BLS or ACLS requiredExperience: At least 6 months of recent outpatient family practice experience is required. Candidates should have experience working with all age groups and be comfortable managing a diverse patient population.EMR Experience: Epic EMR experience is strongly preferredSupport:The clinic has a fully staffed support team, including a practice manager, front office supervisor, medical assistants, and patient care associates.
