MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) is a frontline perioperative registered nurse leader who functions in an expanded role, working in collaboration with the surgeon and health care team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes and improve efficiency of operations.
