Medical Front Office Assistant - Full-Time

They deliver the Rehab United brand of service with the utmost kindness, compassion, professionalism and efficiency. They put our patient experience and support to Rehab United team members first. Come join a thriving work environment, gain valuable experience, and have fun doing it!Essential Job Responsibilities: Greet and check-in patients when they arrive to the office.Have patient complete required forms, obtains necessary signatures, and accurately enter the patient information for registration.Ensure all insurance, personal, and health information is obtained and verified prior to each patient's appointment.Maintain daily scheduling and confirmation of patient appointments.Respond to heavy volume of incoming calls for appointments and other requests.Collect patient co-payments, deductibles, and prior balances.Explain payment policy/billing procedures and financial responsibility to patients.Prepare and properly file patient forms.Balance daily monies and receipts, and ensure accuracy of fee tickets and batch summaries.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Required Skills: Superb customer service & communication skillsAttention to detail, organization & prioritizationEfficient time management, particularly in high pressure scenarios, while maintaining professionalism and composureSimple math skills using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsFamiliarity with MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and TeamsAbility to grasp computer systems quicklyAbility to maintain confidentialityPreferred Experience: Two or more years of medical office experience - Physical Therapy Clinic or Medical Office Management are a plusIncentives/Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and Life/AD&D benefit options401(k) Retirement Program with Company MatchVacation and Holiday PaySick Pay (in accordance with State and City law)Free Fit Societe gym membership.Discounts on massage therapy.Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 Hourly
