Since opening our doors in 2009, our family-owned dealership has remained committed to providing a welcoming, customer-centered experience every time someone visits us.Position Summary:We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer‑focused Full Time Parts Counterperson to support the daily operations of our Parts Department. This role is responsible for assisting technicians, retail customers, and internal staff by identifying, sourcing, and distributing the correct parts in a timely and efficient manner. The Parts Counterperson plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring smooth workflow in the service department, and delivering a positive customer experience.The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to navigate parts catalogs and inventory systems are essential. This position offers opportunities for growth within the Parts Department and broader dealership operations.Schedule: Full-Time; evenings - 11:30am to 8pm Mon-Thurs and a rotation of Fridays and SaturdaysKey Responsibilities: Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment. Locate and pull parts from inventory as needed. Identify and recommend appropriate parts based on customer needs and vehicle specifications. Process sales transactions and collect payments. Greet customers and assist them with their inquiries, helping them identify the correct parts for their needs. Answer phone calls and handle customer inquiries. Provide accurate information about parts availability, pricing, and ordering processes. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor to ensure customer satisfaction. May include other related duties as assigned.Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Must be 18 or older Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and reliability Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever neededWork Environment: Fast-paced automotive service department Frequent communication with technicians, advisors, and management Primarily indoor work environment with occasional shop floor interaction. Ability to stand and move around various service shops and the dealership.
