We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to provide locum tenens support near Skippack, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced generalist anesthesiologist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. Position Details: Start Date: January 27, 2025 Duration: Ongoing assignment with a preference for full-time availability. Schedule: Monday through Friday 10-hour day shifts only No call required Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient Facility includes 24 operating rooms in a 720-bed hospital Patient Demographics: Age range: 1 year and older Average of 50 patients per shift Responsibilities: General anesthesiology cases only; no cardiac anesthesia required. Cases include: General surgery, orthopedic, trauma, OB, neuro, vascular, and regional anesthesia. Excludes cardiac and pediatric cardiac cases. Skills required: Epidural and spinal anesthesia Regional blocks (including post-operative extremity blocks) Ventilation and central line management Requirements: Board Certification in Anesthesiology Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Minimum of 2 weeks of availability per month preferred, with full-time coverage highly desirable. Must have a clean malpractice history and NPDB. Experience with EPIC EMR is required. Support and Resources: Collaborative team of anesthesiologists, LPNs, anesthesia techs, and NPs.
