Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Lewiston, ME Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,279 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant/Medication Technician Profession: Nursing Specialty: CNA LTC, Certified Medication Technician (aide) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 16 hours of orientation unpaid Experience: Minimum 3 years required License: Active on CNA registry Certifications: Graduate of approved CNA course Must-Have: Excellent customer service skills Description: The Certified Nursing Assistant/Medication Technician is an essential member of the patient care team. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, they are responsible for direct and indirect patient care of residents. They will create and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment. The CNA/MT will administer medications via oral, topical, vaginal, and rectal routes, as well as by inhalation. They will be required to chart all medications given, omitted, or refused. The CNA/MT will assist with activities of daily living. This includes assisting with personal hygiene, aiding with mobility, and assisting with mealtimes. Medical terminology is preferred but not required. Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. The organization reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
