This project will be working on a high-volume housing development.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager. The role will suit someone that wants to work for an award-winning house builder. You will need to be a career-driven individual who is looking for Site Manager role with a company that has great stability. You will need to have impeccable communication skills, as the client is seeking an individual that is able to talk to sub-contractors and key stakeholders within the business.The Role:Manage the day to day running of the development and provide clear direction to those working on the construction site regarding their responsibilities and targets.Manage and implement health and safety procedures and ensuring that that all aspects of health and safety are followed and adhered too.Motivate, support and manage directly employed site staff, providing toolbox talks, training, coaching, and support as required to improve performanceEnsure site presentation is always maintained at the correct standardDeliver all aspects of production requirements in strict accordance with relevant technical and planning documentation provided and any subsequent instructions that may be necessary from time to timeFully conform to building regulations and warranty provider's requirements (NHBC, LABC Services).Ensure accurate production/progress returns are updated and sent to the Construction Manager and/or Construction Director as requestedEnsure that adequate site records are maintained including but not limited to Site Managers reports, labour requirements, plant, materials, site inductions and health and safety records.Thoroughly inspect and ensure any remedial work is completed in advance of each NHBC key stage inspectionAbout the Company/Client/Project:The client is an award-winning company that has been building communities across the South West for several decades.Requirements including certificates and qualifications:GCSE Maths and English - Grade C or above (or equivalent)Experience of a new build construction site for a residential developerValid SMSTS certificateValid First Aid certificateAbility to read and interpret designs and drawings.Excellent attention to Detail with a desire to succeedWhat you will receive in returnSalary (+ company car allowance or company car)Pension contributionStable project pipeline in the regionCandidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK.J-18808-Ljbffr
