Key Responsibilities Process release of information requests accurately and in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform quality checks and maintain equipment in excellent operating condition Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality of patient information Required Qualifications High School Diploma (GED) required A minimum of 2 years prior experience in a medical records department preferred Strong computer software experience, including Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to type 50 wpm and use office equipment such as fax and scanners Self-motivated with proven customer satisfaction skills
