Work to establish effective, long-term relationships with customers. Lead Sales initiatives in the Independent Automotive Aftermarket to exponential growth. Build relationships with traditional key accounts while innovating development with new channels.Principle ResponsibilitiesGenerate new sales opportunities for Automotive Light Vehicle Braking – IAM and private label programs. Maximize sales revenues within an existing and prospective customer baseGenerate national sales plan to deliver AOP within budgetPerform business reviews of new opportunities with senior management. Lead sales proposals with business case analytics, costs, pricing, terms, and full-scope solutions. Conduct regular sales meetings with customersContact customers to gather information concerning product sales or competitor activityPrepare materials to use in support of oral presentationsMaintain familiarity with trade reaction to prices, discounts, terms of sales, product packaging, and customer service within own territoryCommunicate prices, terms, or conditions of sales programs with customersDiscuss problems with customers, answer questions, and present "win-win" solutionsFull cycle brand management - marketing, supply chain, customer service, etc. Drive an increase in the share of demand at the professionally installed levelMotivate and train inside and outside WD salespeopleWork with potential customers to identify, solicit, and close sales opportunitiesWork independently to identify, solicit, and close sales opportunitiesQualificationsExperience or background in the brake industry is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline, Business, or Engineering -4 year degree preferredMinimum 2-5 years of automotive aftermarket experienceAnalytical and able to make short- and long-term decisionsAbility to travel +60%CompetenciesShows the ability to be resourceful and drivenHighly organized, results-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, organization and development skillsMicrosoft PPT, Excel, Teams and other management toolsUnderstanding the Automotive Aftermarket landscape. Positive attitude with a proactive approach to the businessSAP experience a plusThe posted salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 annually, including bonus.
