About Anderson Injury LawyersWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual (Chinese/Mandarin) Legal Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist with organizing case files, communicating with clients in both languages, and facilitating a variety of tasks in the prelitigation phase of personal injury cases.About The Role Client Communications:Assist in communicating with clients to gather initial case information, update them on case status and address inquiriesMaintain a positive and client-focused approach in all interactionsCase File Organization:Aid in the organization and maintenance of pre-litigation case files, ensuring accuracy and completenessAssist in tracking and updating case information in the case management systemDocument Preparation:Assist in the preparation of necessary documents for case evaluations, including summaries, timelines, and client communicationsEnsure that all documents are properly labeled, files, and accessible for case managersMedical Records Coordination:Support in coordinating the retrieval of medical records and bills relevant to pre-litigation casesLiaise with medical providers to gather necessary documentationTask Coordination:Assist in coordinating tasks related to the pre-litigation process, ensuring timelines are metCollaborate with legal professionals to facilitate case progressionClient Advocacy:Uphold a client-focused approach, advocating for client needs and ensuring a positive client experienceAddress client inquiries and concerns, escalating complex issues to case managersAdministrative Support:Provide general administrative support, including data entry and electronic filingAssist in maintaining organized and up-to-date case filesCalendar Management:Aid in managing calendars and scheduling appointments for case managersEnsure efficient coordination of appointments and follow-upsQualificationsFluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) requiredExperience working with Chinese speaking clients, with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both languagesProficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Chinese and English; to assist with client interactions, documentation, and case file managementPrevious experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a legal or client-focused settingStrong organizational and communication skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasksProficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
