This Litigation Legal Assistant role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.Key responsibilities for the Litigation Legal Assistant include:Preparing, proofreading, and filing pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal correspondenceSupporting attorneys in commercial and business litigation matters from inception through trialManaging electronic and physical case files using litigation support and document management systemsCoordinating depositions, court appearances, hearings, meetings, and trial logisticsAssisting with trial preparation, including exhibit organization, witness coordination, and document preparationCommunicating with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and expert witnessesMaintaining attorney calendars, deadlines, travel arrangements, and scheduling needsEntering attorney time and assisting with billing processesProviding administrative and litigation support in a deadline-driven legal environmentLitigation Legal Assistant Background Profile:Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant within a law firm environmentStrong experience supporting commercial or business litigation attorneys requiredHigh school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferredProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience with e-filing systems and litigation case management softwareTyping speed of 65+ WPM preferredExcellent proofreading, organizational, and multitasking abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills with polished client interaction experienceAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative legal teamFeatures and Benefits:Comprehensive health benefits packageRetirement savings plan 401(k) with employer matchPaid time off and holidays
