Mig Welder

Job Description (Lavonia, GA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a MIG Welder. Essential Duties: • Interpret blueprints to determine specifications and welding requirements • Select appropriate tools, equipment, and metals for each job • Measure, align, and assemble metal components to build doors and frames • Perform MIG welding on stainless steel and hot rolled metal • Complete plug welds and other required weld types with accuracy and quality • Work collaboratively with team members and move between stations as needed • Maintain a safe and organized work area Requirements/Skills: • Prior MIG welding experience required • Ability to read and interpret blueprints • Experience welding stainless steel and hot rolled metal • Ability to pass an onsite welding test, including 3 different welds on two materials and a plug weld • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • Flexibility to move to different work stations as needed • Pay rate: $20/hr Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand for extended periods • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and safely use welding equipment Equal Opportunity Statement: *Flexicrew Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with FTS is governed on the basis of merit, competence, and qualifications.
